In his semester at propel Joshua was interested in expanding his woodworking skills. To do so he decided to teach himself one of his interests in woodworking, carving. For his project he has created a showcase of carvings that demonstrate his progression from his first carving to his last. He taught himself two different styles of carving, one being carving in the round, and the other being relief carving. Along with learning wood carving Joshua also partnered with a fellow classmate Sean Kohli, and teacher Matt Patrician, in framing and constructing a warming hut for the skating path at the forks. In doing so he learnt a good amount of carpentry skills that he can add to his woodworking skillset.
