For Staycee’s first semester at Propel, she chose to learn about Architectural and Interior Design principles by designing her own houses and bringing them to virtual reality in the program Google SketchUp. Staycee has only designed one house, but has furnished and painted the house three different ways. The rooms, doors, windows, and walls are in the exact same place, only composed of different aesthetics. This allows Staycee to challenge her creativity, as she developed each house for unique inhabitants with developed backstories. Staycee received feedback on her designs from industry professionals at Republic Architecture.
