For Thea’s project, she chose to write a novel. At the outset of the semester, Thea knew what she wanted to write about, and therefore she was able to jump directly into writing once project time began. The novel is titled Max Lastname, and is aimed toward young adults. It tells the story of Max and his father who move around the continental US, changing identities with each move. Max believes this to be a game invented by his father, but in reality it’s a way for the father to keep his son away from his own criminal wrong-doings. Thea will finish off her project with a book launch at McNally Robinson on June 16th.
