Zoe Manchulenko has always had a passion for writing. It’s fitting that their project for Propel is to publish a poetry book that will be accompanied by drawings done by a former Propel student. Propel has given Zoe a chance to start being creative again and start writing poetry. They really want people to focus on the visuals of the book. Zoe’s 33 poems tackle the idea that loving someone isn’t always perfect – that there are different stages to the feeling of love and that each of these stages have their own unique impact. Propel has taught Zoe that there is nothing wrong with following your passion.
